Full Stack Engineer — Queuely
Queuely is building the modern waitlist and queue management platform for restaurants. We help hosts spend less time managing lines and more time creating great guest experiences — with real-time queues, SMS notifications, and seamless check-in via QR code.
We're a small, fast-moving team. You'll own features end-to-end, from designing schema to deployments.
What you'll build
New product features across the full stack — queue logic, owner dashboard, guest-facing flows
Integrations with third-party services (Twilio, Google OAuth, payment providers)
Performant, mobile-first UI that works for a host holding a phone in a busy restaurant
APIs consumed by both the web and mobile apps.
Tech stack
Backend:
Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL
Frontend:
React, TypeScript, Vite
Infrastructure:
Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Build), Docker
Comms:
Twilio, Server-Sent Events for real-time updates, Web Sockets, Stripe
What we're looking for
3+ years building production web applications across frontend and backend
Comfortable in Java or another typed backend language; willing to work in Java
Solid React and TypeScript skills — you care about UX and sweat the details
Experience with relational databases and writing productive queries
Familiarity with cloud deployment (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
Self-directed: you can take a vague product idea and ship a working feature
Nice to have
Experience in the restaurant or hospitality tech space
Exposure to real-time systems (SSE, WebSockets)
Comfort with early-stage startup pace — things change, priorities shift, you adapt
What you'll get
Equity
Direct influence over product and architecture decisions
Remote-friendly, async-first culture
Market-competitive salary
