Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor s and/or Master s Degree in Design / Interaction Design / UX/UI / HCI / Computer Science / Related Fields (M.Des preferred)
As per UGC norms for the respective designation
Relevant teaching and/or industry experience in UX/UI design preferred / PhD preferred

Key Responsibilities
Deliver studio-based and theory courses in UX/UI and Interaction Design
Teach core areas such as User Experience (UX), User Interface (UI), Interaction Design, Information Architecture, and Usability
Implement experiential, project-based, and research-driven learning methodologies
Mentor students under the mentor mentee framework
Contribute to curriculum development, integrating industry trends and emerging technologies
Guide students in design thinking, user research, prototyping, and usability testing
Incorporate tools and technologies such as AI in design, AR/VR,



and advanced interaction systems
Engage in research, publications, and interdisciplinary collaboration
Participate in academic administration, juries, workshops, hackathons, and institutional initiatives
Facilitate industry collaborations, live projects, and internships

Desired Skills Competencies
Solid foundation in design thinking, user-centered design, and problem-solving
Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Framer, Webflow, or similar
Knowledge of wireframing, prototyping, user flows, and usability testing
Understanding of front-end basics (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) is a plus
Familiarity with design systems, accessibility standards, and responsive design
Effective communication, mentoring, and presentation skills
Commitment to innovation, interdisciplinary learning, and academic excellence
Minimum 2 years of qualified experience in UX/UI or Interaction D
