About the Role

Maven Marketing Agency is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the finance function through accurate reporting and documentation.

This role provides an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial management within a dynamic and rapid-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records and bookkeeping.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Prepare, file, and reconcile GST returns within prescribed timelines.
Calculate, deduct, and file TDS returns as per statutory requirements.
Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and customer ledger reconciliations.
Generate invoices, payment vouchers, and maintain financial documentation.
Handle employee reimbursements and expense management.
Assist in monthly, quarterly,



and annual financial closing activities.
Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management review.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities during audits and assessments.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation laws, and statutory regulations.
Maintain proper records of financial and statutory documents.
Support payroll processing and salary-related documentation.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills
Proficiency in Zoho Books/Zoho Accounting Software
Robust knowledge of:
GST (Registration, Filing, Reconciliation, and Compliance)
TDS provisions and return filing
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
VLOOKUP
HLOOKUP
XLOOKUP
Pivot Tables
Conditional Formatting
Data Validation
Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
