The Sales Engineer is responsible for generating business opportunities, developing customer relationships, promoting the company's Level Measurement and Process Automation products, achieving sales targets, and providing techno-commercial solutions to customers across various process industries such as Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Cement, Steel, Power, Water & Wastewater, Oil & Gas, and OEMs.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and develop current customers in assigned territory.
Generate enquiries from End Users, EPC Contractors, Consultants, OEMs and System Integrators.
Conduct regular customer visits to promote company products and solutions.
Develop current business opportunities and expand market presence.
Sales & Marketing
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Prepare sales plans and execute territory development activities.
Promote Level Measurement, Process Automation and related instrumentation products.
Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain robust relationships with existing and potential customers.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
Handle customer queries and provide timely support.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Techno-Commercial Activities
Coordinate with the Inside Sales/Proposal team for quotation preparation.
Follow up on quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
Participate in technical discussions, bid clarifications and commercial negotiations.
Support customers during technical evaluations.
Order Finalization
Follow up from enquiry to order closure.
Coordinate with internal departments for smooth order execution.
Monitor project progress and delivery schedules.
Support payment collection and outstanding receivables.
