Production Technician

Experience: 1+ Year
Qualification: ITI / Diploma – Mechanical / Production / Electrical

Job Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor production machines and equipment as per standard operating procedures.
- Carry out daily production activities while maintaining quality and productivity targets.
- Perform machine setup, changeover, and basic troubleshooting.
- Check product quality using basic measuring instruments and inspection methods.
- Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S practices on the shop floor.
- Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and work instructions.
- Record production, rejection, downtime, and other required data.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality teams for machine or quality-related issues.
- Identify abnormalities in machines/processes and report them to the supervisor.




- Support continuous improvement activities and Kaizen initiatives.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of production processes and machine operation.
- Basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
- Ability to read work instructions and basic engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper and Micrometer.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts.

Preferred Candidate

- ITI/Diploma candidate with minimum 1 year of production/manufacturing experience.
- Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment will be preferred.
- Candidate should be disciplined, safety-conscious, and target-oriented.
