ASSISTANT DESIGNER - Textiles - Apparels / Garments

Experience: 1–4 Years

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per Month (Negotiable)

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Designer to support the design team in developing new garment styles, preparing design presentations, coordinating samples, and assisting with fabric, trims, colors, and print development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the Senior Designer in developing new garment designs and collections.

Create and update design concepts, mood boards, and presentation sheets.

Research fashion trends, colors, fabrics, silhouettes, and market developments.

Assist in developing prints, embroideries, trims, and garment details.

Coordinate with sampling, merchandising, production, and sourcing teams.

Prepare and maintain tech packs, specification sheets, and design files.

Follow up on samples and ensure designs are developed according to requirements.





REQUIRED SKILLS

Good knowledge of Garment / Fashion Design.

Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, colors, prints, and garment construction.

Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop preferred.

Good sense of fashion trends and commercial styling.

Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced export-house environment.

QUALIFICATION

Diploma / Degree in Fashion Designing, Textile Designing, or a related field
