Job Summary

International Transmission Ltd. (ITL) is a manufacturing company engaged in engineering and industrial manufacturing activities. The Production Engineer will be responsible for supporting smooth production operations, maintaining quality and productivity, and coordinating with various departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor daily production activities and ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan.
- Plan and coordinate manpower, machines, materials, and production activities for smooth operations.
- Monitor production processes and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Identify production problems, process delays, rejection, and wastage and report them to the concerned senior.
- Coordinate with Quality, Stores, Maintenance, PPC, and other departments for uninterrupted production.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the Maintenance Department in case of breakdowns or technical issues.
- Maintain daily production reports, rejection records, downtime records, and other production-related documents.
- Support process improvement activities to improve productivity, reduce rejection, and minimize material wastage.




- Ensure proper handling and utilization of raw materials, tools, machines, and other production resources.
- Assist in root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions for production-related issues.
- Guide operators and workers regarding proper production methods and ensure compliance with Company procedures.
- Follow all quality, safety, and operational procedures applicable to the Production Department.
- Perform any other production-related duties assigned by the Reporting Manager or Management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in production department of manufacturing industry
- Basic knowledge of production processes, manufacturing methods, and shop-floor operations.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and basic technical specifications.
- Basic knowledge of production planning, quality control, and process improvement.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively with operators, supervisors, and other departments.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing/plant workplace and as per assigned shift requirements.
