Position: Multi Technician (Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician)

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a versatile, multi-skilled Technician to handle diverse maintenance and repair tasks across our 4-star hotel. The successful candidate will possess expertise in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general maintenance, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experience through quick, efficient service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Electrical Work:

- Install, repair, and maintain lighting, outlets, switches, and wiring
- Troubleshoot electrical problems in guest rooms and public areas
- Replace faulty fixtures, appliances, and electrical components

Plumbing:

- Repair leaks, faucets, toilets, showers, and pipes
- Clear clogged drains and unclog sinks
- Maintain water heaters and plumbing fixtures

Carpentry & Furniture:

- Repair doors, hinges, locks, and cabinets
- Fix furniture, drawers, and woodwork
- Perform minor drywall and tile repairs

HVAC Maintenance:

- Service and maintain air conditioning units
- Replace air filters and clean vents
- Troubleshoot basic heating and cooling issues

General Maintenance:

- Perform painting and touch-up work
- Repair appliances (TV, kettle, minibar, etc.)
- Maintain guest room amenities and fixtures
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly
- Conduct routine property inspections

Safety & Documentation:

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Document maintenance activities and work orders




- Report major issues requiring specialist attention
- Maintain clean and organized work areas

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

- 3+ years of experience in multi-skilled maintenance or hotel maintenance
- Competency in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC
- Valid electrical license/certification (preferred)
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg, climb ladders.
- Ability to read work orders and basic blueprints
- Professional appearance and neat workmanship
- Fluency in Tamil and English
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and on-call

Preferred:

- Diploma/Certificate in Electrical, Plumbing, or Multi-Skilled Maintenance
- Previous hotel or hospitality industry experience
- Knowledge of energy management and preventive maintenance

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
