Sales Engineer
Location : Hyderabad & Kolkata
Experience :5–8 years of overall industry experience. Minimum 3+ years of sales/business development experience in infrastructure, construction, foundation, steel, or related solutions. Strong professional network among consultants, contractors, EPC companies, and infrastructure stakeholders.
Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering. MBA will be an added advantage.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Engineer with strong experience in sales, business development, and marketing of steel, foundation, shoring, and infrastructure solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for developing business opportunities across Southern India, building strong relationships with consultants, contractors, EPC companies, piling contractors, and government departments, and providing techno-commercial solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain solid relationships with Structural Consultants, Design Engineers, Geotechnical Consultants, Architects, Civil Contractors, Piling Contractors, and EPC companies.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Southern India.
- Visit project sites and engage with customers during the early stages of projects.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical and commercial solutions.
- Promote foundation, shoring, steel, and related infrastructure solutions.
- Provide technical support and design assistance for construction, foundation, piling, and shoring applications.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate tenders, and support contract finalization.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Purchase, Accounts, and Project teams for smooth project execution.
- Monitor upcoming infrastructure projects and identify potential business opportunities.




- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to increase market share.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Provide effective after-sales support and resolve customer issues.
- Follow up on project payments in coordination with the Accounts team.
- Maintain sales reports, customer databases, and project-related records.
- Provide regular updates to management on sales activities, project progress, and business opportunities.
- Achieve annual sales and business development targets.

Technical & Industry Knowledge

- Good understanding of construction practices, foundation systems, temporary shoring, and earth-retaining solutions.
- Exposure to shoring solutions, anchors, soil nailing, and I-Rod systems will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and construction project requirements.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and design requirements.
- Ability to learn and work with relevant design/software tools.
- Strong techno-commercial and negotiation skills.

Skills Required:

- Strong professional network among consultants, contractors, EPC companies, and infrastructure stakeholders.
- Exposure to government departments and infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Strong business development and customer relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Office.
- Fluent in English and Hindi; knowledge of regional languages will be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Southern India.
- Self-motivated, proactive, confident, and target-oriented.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
