They define the technology stack, integrate platforms (like Shopify or SAP Commerce Cloud), and manage data flows, ensuring high availability (e.g., 10M+ users).

- Technical Design : Developing architecture for user flows, payment, checkout, and inventory.

- System Integration : Connecting front-end experiences with back-end CMS, ERP, CRM, and PIM systems.

- Scalability & Performance : Optimizing for high traffic using cloud infrastructure, CDNs, and robust databases.

- Platform Selection : Recommending the best ecommerce software (e.g., Magento, Shopify Plus,



Salesforce Commerce Cloud) based on business goals.

- Data & Security : Implementing secure checkout, compliance standards, and data migration strategies.

- User Layer : Front-end web and mobile applications.

- Content Delivery (CDN) : Fast content loading.

- Backend Services : API-driven REST services.

- Data Layer : Product databases, customer data, and analytics.

Essential Skills :

- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Deep knowledge of B2B and B2C ecommerce platforms (Shopify, SAP, Adobe Commerce).

- Experience with microservices architecture and API integration.
