Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft IIS Administrator / Application Hosting Engineer with solid expertise in managing enterprise application hosting platforms, primarily Microsoft IIS (.NET) environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring stability, security, scalability, and automation of application hosting infrastructure across multiple environments and data centers.

Candidates with additional experience in Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere Application Server, or IBM Liberty will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities Microsoft IIS Administration (Primary)

- Administer IIS web farms hosting enterprise .NET applications on Windows Server platforms.
- Configure and manage websites, application pools, bindings, authentication, authorization, and access controls.
- Apply standardized IIS configuration templates for security and operational consistency.
- Automate IIS administration using PowerShell scripts and Ansible playbooks.
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates and support automated certificate renewal.
- Analyze IIS and application logs to troubleshoot performance and availability issues.
- Coordinate OS patching and platform upgrades with Windows engineering teams.
- Monitor infrastructure using OpsView and vRealize Log Insight.
- Support application onboarding, deployments, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in 24x7 production support and incident response.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have)

Oracle WebLogic / IBM WebSphere / IBM Liberty Administration

- Administer WebLogic domains and clusters across production and non-production environments.




- Manage IBM WebSphere Application Server (ND/Base) and IBM Liberty environments.
- Install, configure, patch, and upgrade application servers with minimal downtime.
- Manage cells, nodes, clusters, server instances, managed servers, Node Manager, and runtime configurations.
- Configure JDBC data sources, JMS resources, keystores, and truststores.
- Automate setup and patching using Ansible and WLST scripting.
- Perform JVM performance tuning, GC analysis, heap sizing, and dump analysis.
- Troubleshoot issues related to memory, CPU, stuck threads, connectivity, and deployments.
- Implement security controls including TLS and certificate lifecycle management.
- Configure monitoring with Log Insight, APM, OPSView, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Support on-call rotation and contribute to incident management and RCA.
