Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and proactive Manager on Duty (MOD) to oversee daily hospital operations and ensure smooth functioning across departments during assigned shifts. The MOD will serve as the primary point of contact for staff, patients, and visitors, ensuring high standards of patient care, customer service, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily hospital operations during assigned shifts.
- Ensure all departments function efficiently and comply with hospital policies and procedures.
- Address patient, visitor, and staff concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor staffing levels and coordinate workforce requirements as needed.
- Support department heads in managing operational issues and service delivery.
- Ensure patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance are maintained.
- Handle emergency situations and coordinate appropriate responses.
- Prepare incident reports and communicate significant issues to senior management.
- Conduct routine rounds throughout the facility to assess operational performance.
- Monitor cleanliness, maintenance, security, and overall hospital environment.
- Assist with admissions, discharge coordination, and patient experience initiatives.




- Ensure effective communication between departments and management.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 1–5 years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospital management systems.
