Quality Control Inspector – Electrical Manufacturing Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our Quality Department in an electrical manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for inspection and quality control activities at incoming, in-process and final stages of production.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Incoming Quality Control (IQC) inspection of raw materials and components.
- Perform In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) inspection during manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Perform Final Quality Control (FQC) / Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) inspection of finished products.
- Conduct dimensional, visual and electrical inspections as per approved specifications and drawings.
- Perform/verify electrical tests such as resistance, inductance, HV test, output voltage and other product-specific tests.
- Identify, segregate and record defective/rejected materials and products.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
- Monitor process defects and coordinate with Production for corrective actions.
- Verify product and process parameters as per Control Plan, SOP, Work Instructions and Inspection Standards.
- Maintain proper identification and traceability of materials and finished products.
- Support PDI and customer inspection activities whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and company procedures.

Required Skills





- Knowledge of IQC, IPQC, FQC and OQC.
- Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic products and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
- Ability to read drawings/specifications and understand quality requirements.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience in QC, electrical, transformer, current transformer (CT), electrical component or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Education

Diploma / ITI / B.Tech / B.A or related field.
