We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to manage financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, audits, and financial controls. The role will support business operations, project accounting, and ensure compliance across multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting
1. Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
3. Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and closing activities.
4. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
1. Ensure compliance with Indian statutory requirements, including the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, PF, ESI, etc.
2. Handle filings, assessments, notices, and correspondence with statutory authorities.
3. Ensure timely compliance with EPFO, ESIC, and other payroll-related statutory obligations.

Taxation
1. Manage direct and indirect tax compliance (Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc.).
2. Prepare and review GST returns, reconciliations, and audits.
3. Support tax planning and optimisation initiatives.
4. Coordinate with tax consultants and advisors as required.

Audit & Controls
1. Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors.
2. Prepare audit schedules, respond to audit queries, and ensure closure of audit points.

Establish and strengthen internal financial controls and SOPs.

Project & Business Support
1. Support project costing, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis.
2. Assist management with financial insights for decision-making.
3. Support cross-border transactions and overseas subsidiaries (Africa operations), if applicable.

Stakeholder Coordination
1. Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
2. Support fundraising, banking documentation, and due diligence exercises.

Qualifications & Experience:
1. Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI.
2. 1 - 3 years of experience
3. Strong knowledge of Indian taxation and statutory compliance.
4. Exposure to multi-entity or international operations is an advantage.
