Role & responsibilities

- Assist the MD in monitoring plant operations, production performance, and technical projects.
- Analyze production, quality, cost, and process improvement data and prepare MIS reports and management presentations.
- Coordinate with Steel Melting Shop (SMS), Rolling Mill, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to track action plans.
- Support the MD in strategic planning, operational reviews, and business improvement initiatives.
- Prepare technical notes, meeting minutes, dashboards, and follow-up reports.
- Monitor KPIs related to productivity, yield, quality, energy consumption, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct data analysis and identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Ensure timely follow-up on critical projects and management decisions.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for technical discussions and project execution.
- Travel to manufacturing units whenever required.

Required Skills

- Robust understanding of Alloy Steel Manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of Steel Melting Shop (EAF/LRF/VD/CCM) and Rolling Mill.




- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work directly with senior leadership and maintain confidentiality.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the steel industry.
- Hands-on exposure to alloy steel manufacturing is mandatory.
- Experience in technical coordination, production planning, process improvement, or plant performance analysis will be preferred.
- Candidates with exposure to management reporting and cross-functional coordination will have an added advantage.
