Job Summary

Nadendla Constructions is looking for an experienced Site Engineer (Civil) to manage day-to-day site execution of industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Candidates with prior experience in industrial construction/PEB projects such as factories, warehouses, manufacturing plants, steel structures, and RCC works will be given preference. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of site execution, PEB, surveying, quality control, and coordination with subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution

- Execute civil works as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities and ensure timely completion of work.
- Coordinate with Project Manager, Consultants, Clients, and Subcontractors.
- Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved methodologies and quality standards.

Surveying & Setting Out

- Perform site layout, marking, centerline fixing, and grid establishment.
- Carry out levelling using Auto Level/Dumpy Level.
- Verify coordinates, benchmarks (BM), and finished levels.
- Ensure accurate alignment and dimensions before execution.

Earthwork & Foundation

- Supervise excavation, backfilling, compaction, and earthwork activities.
- Verify excavation levels and dimensions.
- Ensure proper soil compaction and testing as per specifications.
- Monitor PCC, footing, pedestal, and foundation works.

Reinforcement & Concrete Works

- Inspect reinforcement as per approved BBS and drawings.
- Supervise shuttering/formwork, reinforcement, embedments, and concreting activities.
- Ensure proper concrete placement, vibration, finishing, and curing.
- Coordinate with RMC suppliers and monitor concrete quality.

Quality Control

- Ensure all works comply with project specifications and relevant IS Codes.
- Conduct quality inspections before, during, and after execution.
- Coordinate cube testing, slump tests, and material inspections.




- Prepare and close quality checklists and inspection requests (IRs).

Measurements & Billing Support

- Measure executed quantities and maintain measurement records.
- Assist Billing Engineer in preparation of client and subcontractor bills.
- Verify BOQ quantities and prepare quantity reconciliation statements.
- Maintain daily work progress and consumption reports.

Documentation

- Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), site registers, and work records.
- Prepare material reconciliation reports for cement, steel, concrete, etc.
- Maintain drawing revisions and site documentation.
- Record delays, site instructions, and change orders.

Safety & Coordination

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Coordinate with Safety Officers to maintain a safe work setting.
- Participate in site meetings and resolve execution-related issues.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and productivity.

Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 4 to 8 years of experience in industrial, commercial, warehouse, factory, or infrastructure construction projects.
- Experience in steel structures, RCC works, foundations, and industrial buildings is highly preferred.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Strong understanding of construction drawings and execution methodologies.
- Good knowledge of IS Codes and construction quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and site manpower effectively.
- Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.
