Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced MERN Stack Developer with 2+ years of professional experience in building scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, NestJS, React.js, and modern web technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients.

This role requires someone who can take end-to-end ownership of assigned modules or projects, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and deliver high-quality software within timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js and Node.js (NestJS).
- Build secure, reusable, and high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Design, optimize, and maintain databases using MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Implement caching and queue-based solutions using Redis where applicable.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, project managers, and other developers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across frontend, backend, and database layers.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.
- Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability standards.
- Work with Git-based version control and follow established branching strategies.
- Support deployment activities and collaborate on CI/CD processes.
- Estimate development efforts, manage assigned tasks, and consistently meet project milestones.





End-to-End Accountability

- Take complete ownership of assigned features, modules, or projects from requirement analysis through deployment and post-release support.
- Ensure comprehensive and successful delivery by proactively identifying risks, resolving blockers, and maintaining high quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvements in development processes, application performance, and code quality.

Client Communication & Reporting

- Participate in client discussions to understand business requirements and provide technical inputs.
- Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery status effectively to internal management and customers.
- Prepare clear documentation and regular management reports for transparent project tracking and stakeholder communication.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack web application development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience with Node.js and NestJS.
- Strong frontend development experience using React.js.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern frontend development practices.
- Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong database knowledge with:
- MySQL
- PostgreSQL
- MongoDB
- Experience working with Redis for caching, session management, or queue processing.
- Good understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT,



OAuth, Role-Based Access Control).
- Experience using Git and cooperative development workflows.
- Understanding of application security best practices and performance optimisation.
- Experience with deployment environments, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean) will be a plus.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

Nice to Have

- Experience working with AI-powered applications, background job processing, real-time systems, and system integrations.
- Familiarity with software architecture principles, design patterns, and scalable application design.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and participating in technical decision-making.
