ABOUT DURABLE POLYMERS

Durable Polymers is a Lucknow-based manufacturer of PU foam, silicone foam, non-woven fibre, and engineered polymer components for Indian Railways, automotive OEMs, and industrial clients. We operate fully in-house — design, tooling, production, and testing — across 250,000 sq ft of manufacturing space.

ROLE IN ONE LINE

Conduct mechanical and chemical tests on incoming materials and finished products; maintain accurate test records and ensure compliance with defined quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct chemical and mechanical testing — Karl Fischer titration, amine and acid values, tensile, tear, elongation, and modulus of elasticity.
- Perform in-process quality checks during production and final inspection of finished products.
- Identify defects, label rejected material, and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Maintain all test records and quality documentation per ISO and company requirements.
- Calibrate and maintain lab instruments; flag any equipment issues to the QC Head.




- Coordinate with third-party inspectors during visits — prepare samples and documentation.
- Report test results and deviations to the QC Head promptly.

MUST HAVE

- Diploma or B.Sc. — Chemistry, Polymer Science, or related field
- Hands-on operation of lab testing instruments
- Knowledge of chemical safety and laboratory protocols
- Quality documentation and test report generation
- MS Excel and Word — working proficiency
- 2–4 years in a laboratory or QC role in manufacturing

VALUABLE TO HAVE

- Experience with foam or polymer testing specifically
- Familiarity with RDSO or IS standards for materials testing
- Prior exposure to ISO documentation requirements

NUMBERS THAT MATTER

- Conducts and records all in-process and final product tests
- Maintains complete test records for every batch

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

- Must have own vehicle
- Must reside within 15–20 km of the office

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
