Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workload Automation Specialist with expertise in and Tidal Workload Automation. This role is responsible for the administration, support, optimization, and modernization of enterprise workload automation services.

The successful candidate will support business-critical scheduling operations while contributing to automation, workload modernization, and cloud transformation initiatives. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in workload orchestration, automation, platform operations, and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support enterprise workload automation platforms including Tidal and other Redwood Automation Products
- Manage job scheduling, workflow dependencies, calendars, event triggers, and batch processing activities.
- Provide Level 2 operational support, troubleshooting job failures, incidents, and performance issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and drive resolution of recurring operational issues.
- Maintain a stable, reliable, and high-performing job scheduling environment through upgrades, patching, capacity planning, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain automation and scripting solutions using PowerShell/Unix/Linux shell scripting and related technologies.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce comprehensive documentation for all operational procedures, standards, and workflows.
- Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and system reliability, including optimization of job schedules and dependencies to support business processes.
- Collaborate with applications, infrastructure, and business teams to support critical workload processing requirements.
- Design and implement automation workflows and orchestration solutions to improve operational efficiency,



reduce manual effort, and enhance service quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define dependencies, and manage schedules supporting critical business functions.
- Support workload modernization and cloud migration initiatives by transitioning scheduling workloads, batch processing, and scheduling services from on-premises to cloud environments.
- Partner with Enterprise/Solution Architects, Cloud Operations, and Migration teams to define and execute job scheduling strategies and transformation roadmaps.
- Support integration of scheduling platforms with enterprise applications, databases, file transfer solutions, APIs, and monitoring tools.
- Define and maintain workload automation standards, operational procedures, and documentation.
- Govern scheduling-related changes and ensure compliance with ITSM processes and controls.
- Work closely with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to monitor service delivery, resolve issues, and improve operational performance.
- Support disaster recovery, resiliency testing, and business continuity activities.
- Collaborate with architects and technology teams to evolve workload automation strategies and cloud-based operating models.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, orchestration, and process optimization.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required to support business operations and strategic initiatives.





Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Tidal Workload Automation, or[ER1] similar enterprise scheduling platforms.
- Strong understanding of job scheduling, workload automation, batch processing, and workflow dependency management.
- Experience supporting production environments and business-critical applications.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Experience contributing to cloud adoption, infrastructure transformation, workload modernization, and cloud migration initiatives using platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience working within IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks, including ITIL-based processes.
- Experience working in environments that leverage Managed Service Providers (MSPs) for service delivery and operational support.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to proactively identify and implement improvements.
- Experience working with multiple technology teams, vendors, and service providers.
- Experience contributing to infrastructure, cloud modernizations projects and collaborating across technical and business teams.
- Ability to work effectively within a multicultural, globally distributed, and matrixed organization.
- Robust communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrates accountability, adaptability, ownership, continuous learning, and results-focused growth through expanding responsibilities and technical expertise.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
