Position Details

Role: Go Language Technical Lead

Location: Remote

Experience: 8+ Years overall | 5+ Years in Data Engineering / ETL Development

Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM IST

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Go Language Technical Lead with a strong background in Data Engineering, ETL Pipeline Development, Cloud Technologies, and Golang Development. The ideal candidate will lead the design, architecture, and delivery of scalable enterprise data integration solutions while providing technical leadership to the development team and collaborating with architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Candidate Requirements

- Strong verbal and written communication skills comfortable interacting with client stakeholders directly.
- No significant project gaps in the last few years.
- Solid hands-on experience in Data Engineering — Azure, GCP, or other Cloud platforms, along with ETL/ELT pipeline development.

Technical Skills

- Strong experience in Data Engineering and enterprise data integration.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), data mapping, data validation, and query optimization.
- Experience with Python, PySpark, or Scala.
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience using Go (Golang) for backend services and enterprise applications.
- Experience developing REST APIs, gRPC services, and Microservices.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Distributed Systems,



cloud-native applications, and data quality best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise data integration solutions.
- Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing.
- Architect and develop Golang-based backend services, REST APIs, gRPC services, and Microservices.
- Define technical architecture, coding standards, and development best practices.
- Implement data extraction, transformation, loading, mapping, validation, and quality processes.
- Optimize SQL queries, ETL processes, and overall data pipeline performance.
- Lead code reviews, mentor development teams, and provide technical guidance.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable cloud-native solutions.
- Ensure application scalability, performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, and Golang.
- Solid SQL and database design knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Proven experience leading development teams and delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Retail domain experience.
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM).
- Exposure to Python, PySpark, or Scala is an added advantage.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are an added advantage.
