Role Overview:As a Regulatory Operations Analyst in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in supporting and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across various asset classes. Your responsibilities will include exception management, MIS compilation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and collaborating with technology teams to automate processes. Additionally, you will be involved in building reports and macros to enhance regulatory reporting efficiency.Key Responsibilities:- Perform and manage exception management functions for reporting across multiple asset classes and jurisdictions- Ensure accurate, timely, and complete reporting- Collaborate with technology teams to design system solutions for automating exceptions processes- Liaise with internal and external teams to propose developments for greater compliance with regulations- Conduct root cause analysis for exceptions, escalate significant issues, and provide transparent reporting to senior management- Prioritize activities based on risk, build effective operational processes, and maintain clear communication and escalation channels- Document BI deliverables, support data model design, and develop end-user reports and visualizationsQualifications Required:- 2-7 years of work experience in financial services operations- Graduation in Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics- Regulatory experience in MIFIR, EMIR, Dodd Frank, Bank of England, etc.- Preferable experience in Middle Office/Back Office, Reference Data, and Trade Life Cycle in asset classes like Equities, Credit, Commodities- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with explicit communication and escalation skills- Proficiency in data analysis, Microsoft Office Suite (including VBA), and BI tools like SAP Business Objects, Tableau, QlikView- Advanced SQL experience is preferred(Note: Additional company details were not provided in the job description)
