- Process transactions: Scan items, ensure correct pricing and quantity, and collect payments via cash, credit, or debit cards.
- Provide customer service: Greet customers, answer questions, resolve issues, and process returns, refunds, or exchanges with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Cash handling: Count and balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift,



recording amounts accurately and reporting discrepancies.

- Maintain checkout area: Keep the checkout counter and surrounding area clean, organized, and stocked.

- Assist with store duties: Help with other tasks such as stocking shelves, maintaining inventory, or assisting with sales during peak hours.
