Job Summary:
Designs, improves, and installs integrated manufacturing or administrative systems which use people, materials, information, equipment, and energy.
Key Responsibilities:
Leads work studies for new and current production lines. Leads standard work methods for current and current production lines. Leads the work for specific projects to create and implement all aspects of a manufacturing processes to ensure safety requirements, manufacturing goals, business goals, and product specifications are met. Leads by applying the knowledge or use of manufacturing principles and practices to improve manufacturing equipment and processes. Maintains the application of Cummins standards and develops manufacturing standards. Leads the communications with and influences key external stakeholders, business leaders, and functional members. Works with internal and external resources on specific project assignments. Leads the advanced knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices as they are applied to Cummins. Maintains relationships and coaches key stakeholders.

Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
Ergonomic Fundamentals - Understands ergonomic concepts by applying Cummins ergonomic standards, guidelines, controls and tools to reduce ergonomic risk to employees while at work.
Health and Safety Fundamentals - Champions and models proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.
Line Balancing - Evaluates work activities performed by individuals or machines to identify opportunities to optimize operating time and distributing of the work content to meet the changes in customer demands while continuing to optimize manufacturing processes.
