Overview: As a US Tax Preparer, candidate’s primary responsibility is to assist clients in preparing and filing their US tax returns accurately and in compliance with current tax laws and regulations. He/she will work closely with clients to gather financial information, analyze data, and ensure that tax returns are prepared efficiently and in accordance with established procedures. He/she should have sound knowledge of US Individual, Business and Corporate Tax Returns. Expertise in preparing and reviewing forms 1040, 1120C, 1120S, 1065, 990 and 1041 and Knowledge of various tax software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Communication:
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary financial documents and information for tax return preparation.
- Address client inquiries and provide assistance in a skilled and client-focused manner.
- Ensure clear and concise communication to clarify any tax-related issues.
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Gather and review financial documents, including income statements, W-2s, 1099s,
and other relevant documents.
- Analyze financial data to determine appropriate deductions, credits, and other tax-related considerations.

- Tax Return Preparation:
- Utilize tax preparation software to input client data and generate accurate tax returns.
- Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy in tax return preparation.
- Prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities as required.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough reviews of completed tax returns to identify errors or discrepancies.
