About the Role

LOUDLABS is looking for an experienced YouTube Specialist to lead YouTube operations and oversee the overall execution of a dedicated YouTube-focused project.

This role combines YouTube expertise with project leadership. The individual will be responsible for managing the complete YouTube operations, setting the content and publishing workflow, monitoring performance, and coordinating with the relevant internal teams to ensure the project meets its growth and performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Take end-to-end ownership of YouTube operations and project execution.
- Lead the YouTube project and act as the primary point of coordination for all YouTube-related activities.
- Develop and manage the overall YouTube content and publishing strategy.
- Oversee video uploads, scheduling, metadata, titles, descriptions, tags, hashtags, playlists, chapters, and other publishing requirements.
- Work closely with video editors, content writers, designers, social media, and other relevant teams.
- Establish workflows, timelines, deliverables, and publishing schedules.
- Monitor the performance of videos and the overall channel using YouTube Analytics and YouTube Studio.
- Analyse metrics including views, watch time, audience retention, CTR, engagement, subscriber growth, and traffic sources.
- Identify content trends and provide data-driven recommendations to improve channel performance.




- Develop strategies to improve discoverability, audience retention, engagement, and channel growth.
- Oversee thumbnail and title strategies and work with the creative team to improve CTR.
- Ensure content is optimised for YouTube SEO and platform best practices.
- Track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
- Prepare regular performance reports and present key insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated with YouTube algorithm changes, platform features, trends, monetisation opportunities, and evolving best practices.
- Continuously experiment with content formats, publishing strategies, and optimisation techniques to drive growth.

Requirements

- 2-3 years of robust experience in YouTube operations, channel management, digital media, or content strategy.
- Proven experience managing and growing YouTube channels.
- Strong understanding of YouTube Studio, YouTube Analytics, SEO, content optimisation, and channel strategy.
- Strong understanding of CTR, retention, watch time, audience behaviour, traffic sources, and other key YouTube metrics.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple content workflows.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to develop strategies based on data and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Experience across different content categories is preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital content and evolving YouTube trends.
