Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily workshop operations, job card flow and technician allocation
- Ensure timely and quality repair and maintenance of all vehicles brought in for service
- Manage spare parts inventory in coordination with the parts department to avoid delays
- Handle warranty claims, documentation and coordination with Ashok Leyland for approvals
- Monitor workshop productivity, turnaround time and customer satisfaction scores
- Train and mentor technicians on the latest service procedures and safety standards
- Resolve customer complaints related to service quality in a timely and qualified manner
- Maintain workshop discipline, cleanliness and adherence to manufacturer service standards

Requirements

- Diploma or degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering preferred




- 4 to 7 years of experience in commercial vehicle workshop or service operations
- Strong technical knowledge of Ashok Leyland vehicles and repair processes
- Proven experience in managing a team of technicians and workshop staff
- Good problem-solving skills and a customer-first approach
- Strong sense of ownership, integrity and accountability towards assigned responsibilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
