Company Description Chitran Institute of Drawing, Painting, Music, Dance, and Handwriting is a multidisciplinary training center based in Himayatnagar, Ashok Nagar, Hyderabad, Telangana. The institute offers a wide range of courses, including drawing and painting (such as pencil shading, watercolors, acrylics, oils, portraits, and sceneries), Carnatic vocal music, and instruments like guitar, keyboard, drums, harmonium, tabla, and flute. It also provides dance training and specialized handwriting improvement programs led by experienced teachers.

Classes are taught by various subject experts and are available both in-person and online. The institute emphasizes practical learning, individual attention, and skill development for learners of different ages and experience levels.

Role Description The Western Dance Instructor Intern will design and deliver engaging, structured dance classes focusing on Western dance styles for learners at different levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lesson content, demonstrating techniques and choreography, guiding students through warm-ups and practice sessions, and preparing learners for performances or assessments. The instructor will provide constructive feedback, ensure a safe and inclusive learning setting,



and collaborate with other faculty to support institute events and showcases.

This is an on-site internship based in Hyderabad, with strong performers offered a full-time Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) at the end of the internship period.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Dance and Western Dance styles, with the ability to demonstrate and teach choreography clearly.
- Candidates should possess skills in Dance Instruction and Dance Education, including lesson planning, class management, and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Candidates should possess Teaching skills, with the ability to communicate concepts clearly, motivate learners, and adapt to diverse student needs.
- Candidates should possess basic Music awareness to support rhythm, timing, and coordination in dance training.
- Previous experience as a dance instructor or performer, especially in institute or academy settings, is preferred but not mandatory for the internship track.
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a commitment to creating a respectful, inclusive classroom environment.
- Ability to work full time on-site in Hyderabad and participate in institute programs, workshops, and performances.
