Job Description Company: House of Unblur Private Limited Location: Surat, Gujarat (Remote)
n Experience: 5+ years (D2C / performance agency strongly preferred) Type: Full-time
n Who We Are
n House of Unblur is an elite D2C performance marketing agency. We've driven ₹341Cr+ in managed growth across 200+ brands and hold official partnerships with Meta, Google, Shopify, and Shiprocket. We don't run ads. We engineer growth — and we expect everyone on the buying floor to be sharp, accountable, and obsessed with the number that matters: profitable scale.
n This is not a seat-warmer role. This is for someone who lives inside Ads Manager, reads a dashboard like a story, and knows exactly which lever to pull before the client even asks.
n What You'll Own
n n Full-funnel media buying across Meta and Google for a portfolio of D2C brands — from cold prospecting to retargeting to brand search.
n Profitable scale. You own blended ROAS, CAC, and spend efficiency. You don't just hit targets — you defend margins while pushing volume.
n Campaign architecture. Structure accounts properly (ASC/ABO/CBO on Meta, PMax/Search/Shopping on Google) instead of chasing dashboard noise.
n Creative strategy partnership. Brief the creative team with intent — angles, hooks, formats — based on what the data is actually telling you.
n Daily optimization discipline. No reckless pause-relaunch cycles. Decisions backed by data, statistical significance, and a clear hypothesis.
n Client-facing performance ownership. Walk into a call, own the numbers, explain the why, and lead the next move with confidence.
n Testing roadmap. Run a structured pipeline of audience, creative, offer, and landing-page tests — and kill or scale fast based on results.
n n What Makes You a Fit (Non-Negotiables)
n n 5+ years of hands-on media buying on both Meta and Google Ads — not one or the other.
n A track record of scaling D2C / e-commerce accounts profitably (you can talk real numbers: spend managed, ROAS held, accounts grown).
n Deep fluency in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads — campaign types, bidding strategies, attribution, audience logic, conversion tracking.
n Comfort with Shopify, GA4, pixel/CAPI setup, and UTM hygiene.
n You read data like a native language — you spot the leak, the winner, and the trend before anyone points it out.
n Sharp, fast, and accountable. You make decisions, own outcomes, and don't hide behind "the algorithm."
n n You'll Stand Out If You
n n Have managed monthly ad spends of ₹10L+ across multiple accounts.
n Understand unit economics — contribution margin, AOV, LTV — not just platform metrics.
n Have experience with creative testing frameworks and feeding insights back to design teams.
n Have built or followed SOPs for scaling, retention, and account hygiene.
n Are fluent across English and Hinglish for both client communication and creative briefing.
n n What You Get
n n A front-row seat at one of India's sharpest D2C growth agencies.
n Direct access to ₹crores in live ad spend and a portfolio of responsible brands.
n A team that moves fast, thinks in systems, and rewards ownership.
n Real growth — into Lead Buyer / Head of Media roles for those who prove it.
n n Screening Questions
n Answer these along with your application. We read for thinking, not buzzwords, vague answers get filtered out automatically.
n n Walk us through one account you scaled. What was the monthly spend when you started vs. now, the blended ROAS/CAC, and the single biggest decision that moved the needle?
n A campaign hits 3x ROAS at ₹50k/day and you're told to scale to ₹1.5L/day. What's your exact step-by-step approach — and what breaks first?
n Meta vs. Google: for a D2C brand doing ₹40L/month, how would you split budget across the two, and why? What does each platform do that the other can't?
n A client's blended ROAS drops from 2.5x to 1.4x over two weeks. Spend is flat. Walk us through how you diagnose it — in order.
n When is PMax the right call, and when is it actively hurting the account? Give a real example.
n How do you decide a creative or audience test is a winner vs. just noise? What's your threshold?
n What's a media-buying belief you held 2 years ago that you've completely changed your mind on and what changed it?
n Be honest: what's the biggest spend you've personally lost on a bad call, and what did you learn?
n n How to Apply
n Send your CV, your answers to the screening questions above, and 2–3 accounts you've scaled — what the starting point was, what you did, and what the result was. Numbers talk louder than adjectives here.
n Apply to:
n House of Unblur — where performance isn't a department, it's the standard.
