Mumbai, India.

Key responsibilities:
- Handling and managing general cargo and project shipments, incl. full operational (technical) and cost control / profitability (commercial) aspects
- Assist in the preparation of RFQ and tender responses for both Government and Private companies.
- Serving as a point of contact for clients, partners and other offices for any project operations-related issues
- Shipping all kind of cargo, incl. out-of-gauge and heavy lift cargo across the globe




- Coordinating and negotiating with subcontractors, sourcing competitive rates from potential subcontractors and reviewing and posting invoices and billing customers
- Calculating and monitoring project profits
- Supporting sales team in writing up offers and proposals to clients
- Administration and support in daily business activities in a global business setting
- Supporting management (local and regional) in reporting, etc.

Skills, knowledge and expertise:
- Minimum 3+ years of work experience in freight forwarding industry
- Knowledge in working on Government tenders/RFQ preferred with experience of working on GeM portal.
- Proven track record of successfully executed logistics operations, coordination and management
- Know-how in freight forwarding; experience in ocean freight, incl. break bulk, is an advantage
- Familiarization with current software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good organizational skills, c
