We are looking for a Principal Engineer to provide technical leadership across multiple product teams developing cloud-native applications on the Microsoft technology stack. This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for driving engineering excellence, solving complex technical challenges, defining engineering standards, and mentoring senior engineers. Working closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, Engineering Managers, and development teams, you will play a key role in shaping technical direction and ensuring delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions.
What you will do
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams.




- Drive engineering excellence through modern software development practices.
- Lead technical decision-making for complex business and engineering challenges.
- Establish engineering standards, coding guidelines, and development best practices.
- Mentor senior engineers and technical leads to strengthen technical capability across the organisation.
- Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Solution Design and Architecture
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions.
- Partner with Solution Architects to define application and integration architectures.
- Review solution designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
- Evaluate recent technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns.
- Identify opportunities to improve scalability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.

Software Development
Provide technical expertise in:
- C#, .NET 6/8, and ASP.NET Core
- RESTful APIs
