Job Title: Senior Accountant

Department: Finance & Accounting

Location: Ahmedabad

Reports to: Finance Manager / CFO

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.

- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including journal entries and account analysis.

- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset accounting.

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support tax filings (GST, VAT, TDS, corporate tax, etc.).

- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes.

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.

- Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements.

- Provide guidance and support to junior accountants and finance staff.





- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CA/ACCA preferred).

- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.

- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory standards.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Tally).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

- High level of integrity and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
