Job Title: Elevator Testing and Commissioning Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad

Department: Installation / Projects / Engineering

Job Type: Full time

Reports To: Commissioning Manager / Project Manager

(Only Male)

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform pre-commissioning and final testing of elevator systems in accordance with technical specifications and standards.

- Conduct inspections to verify mechanical, electrical, and control system readiness.

- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during testing and coordinate resolutions with the installation and engineering teams.

- Execute safety and functionality checks as per relevant codes (EN 81, IS 14665, etc.).

- Document test results, prepare commissioning reports, and obtain necessary approvals.

- Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and clients for inspection schedules and approvals.

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company quality standards during testing activities.

- Support the handover process to clients by demonstrating system functionality.





- Maintain records of tools, equipment, and calibration certificates used during testing.

- Provide technical support during maintenance or upgrade of existing elevator systems when needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.

- 2–5 years of experience in elevator/lift testing and commissioning.

- In-depth knowledge of elevator systems including traction, hydraulic, and machine-room-less (MRL) systems.

- Familiarity with elevator safety codes and compliance standards (e.g., EN 81, ISO, IS codes).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

- Good communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.

- Hands-on experience with testing equipment and diagnostic tools.

- Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

- Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
