About The Fashion Verge The Fashion Verge (TFV) is a fashion-first YouTube channel that blends style, grooming, lifestyle, and storytelling into highly engaging, retention-driven videos. We create content that feels premium, fast, and culturally relevant — while staying practical and relatable.

We’re looking for a YouTube Video Editor who can bring energy, pace, and polish to long-form videos and shorts, and help us level up consistency without losing our signature style.

What You’ll Do

- Edit Long-Form YouTube Videos (Primary)

- Edit 8–20 min YouTube videos with strong pacing, structure, and retention-focused storytelling
- Clean cuts, crisp flow, and engaging transitions (not over-edited, but never dull)
- Add B-roll, cutaways, stock clips, and subtle motion graphics to support the narrative
- Build intros, cold opens, and high-retention sequences that hook fast

2) Edit Shorts/Reels (Secondary)
- Create punchy 20–60 sec edits from new shoots and/or long-form content
- Strong subtitles, snappy pacing, and trend-aware formatting
- Repurpose content smartly while keeping it “native” to Shorts/Reels

3) Audio + Visual Polish
- Clean dialogue audio, reduce noise, balance levels, and enhance clarity
- Add music and sound design that boosts emotion and energy (without overpowering)
- Basic color correction/grading for a consistent premium look

4)



Packaging Support (Bonus but Valuable)
- Suggest edit improvements for retention (where to tighten, where to add B-roll, where to add punchlines)
- Collaborate with the team on thumbnail/intro ideas from an editor’s perspective
- Maintain TFV’s editing style across formats

5) AI utilisation for thumbanils, creatives, avatar consistency, voice over, motion graphics etc using tools like higgsfield, eleven labs etc.

What We’re Looking For

- Robust understanding of YouTube pacing + retention (you can feel when a scene drags)
- Good taste: clean, premium edits > flashy effects
- Fast, reliable delivery with consistent quality
- You can take feedback well and improve quickly
- You’re proactive — you don’t just “edit”, you enhance

Tools & Skills
- Premiere Pro (preferred) / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve
- After Effects (motion text, simple animations) is a plus
- Experience with captions/subtitles (manual or tools-based)
- Strong file management, backups, and clean project workflow
