- The Activity Manager – Electrical is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring assigned electrical construction activities to ensure they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Execution
- Plan and manage daily and weekly electrical construction activities.
- Develop detailed work schedules and coordinate with the overall project plan.
- Ensure all electrical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Monitor work progress and implement corrective actions to recover delays.

- Site Management

- Supervise electrical engineers, supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.
- Ensure adequate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment are available for planned activities.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, HVAC, and other disciplines to avoid interface conflicts.
- Resolve technical and construction issues to maintain project progress.

- Quality Management

- Ensure electrical installations comply with project quality requirements, applicable codes, and client specifications.
- Conduct inspections and coordinate with QA/QC teams for approvals.
- Ensure punch list items are completed and closed promptly.
- Review inspection reports and implement corrective actions where required.

- Health, Safety & Setting (HSE)

- Promote a strong safety culture across all electrical activities.
- Ensure compliance with project HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and risk assessments.
- Conduct toolbox talks and participate in safety inspections.
- Investigate incidents and implement preventive measures.

- Commercial & Cost Control

- Monitor productivity and optimize resource utilization.
- Support quantity verification, progress measurements,



and valuation of completed work.
- Assist in managing variations, change orders, and cost impacts.
- Control material wastage and improve cost efficiency.

- Procurement & Material Management

- Coordinate with procurement teams for timely delivery of electrical materials and equipment.
- Review material submittals and technical approvals.
- Monitor inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of electrical equipment.

- Testing & Commissioning

- Coordinate pre-commissioning, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure all systems are tested in accordance with approved procedures.
- Support system energization and final handover activities.
- Prepare commissioning records and close-out documentation.

- Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Track project milestones, productivity, and key performance indicators.
- Maintain accurate site records, technical documentation, and as-built information.
- Report risks, delays, and mitigation plans to project management.

- Stakeholder Coordination

- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Attend coordination and progress meetings.
- Ensure timely resolution of technical queries and requests for information (RFIs).
