Responsibilities
- The Lead Security will be entrusted with comprehensive responsibilities that ensure the integrity and safety of the entire thermal power facility.

- Developing and implementing strategic security policies and procedures tailored to the specific needs of the thermal power industry, ensuring alignment with Adani’s corporate governance and compliance requirements.
- Leading a multidisciplinary security team, including security officers, surveillance operators, and emergency response personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Conducting thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats and mitigate them proactively by deploying advanced security technologies and physical controls.
- Overseeing access control systems to safeguard critical infrastructure and ensuring that all personnel, contractors, and visitors adhere to security protocols without impeding operational efficiency.
- Coordinating with local law enforcement, fire departments,



and emergency services to establish robust partnerships and effective response mechanisms during incidents or emergencies.
- Managing incident response planning and execution, including drills, investigations, and reporting, to minimize impact and facilitate swift resolution of security breaches or threats.
- Ensuring compliance with national and international safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry best practices, incorporating these standards into daily security operations and audits.
- Spearheading employee training programs on security awareness, emergency preparedness, and behavioral safety to enhance the overall security posture and embed a risk-conscious culture.
