About the Role

Linkup Social is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can turn raw footage into engaging, high-quality content for social media and digital campaigns.

You will primarily work on Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, social media ads, talking-head content, and brand videos.

The ideal candidate should understand storytelling, pacing, hooks, captions, B-roll, sound design, and viewer retention.

What You’ll Do

- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form videos.
- Create social media ads, promotional videos, and talking-head content.
- Add captions, subtitles, B-roll, transitions, graphics, and text animations.
- Improve pacing, storytelling, hooks, and overall viewer retention.
- Perform basic audio cleanup, sound design, color correction, and grading.
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form videos.
- Optimize videos for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Work closely with content writers and social media managers.
- Stay updated with current video editing and social media trends.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong understanding of short-form and social media video editing.
- Good sense of storytelling, pacing, music, B-roll,



and visual flow.
- Ability to create polished videos from raw footage and basic briefs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working on multiple projects and taking creative feedback.
