Designation: Sales Associate (Contractual employment with Teamlease)
Reporting to: Manager - Sales
Role & Responsibilities
- Report to the BOI Investment Managers (BOI IM) Sales Manager in the respective city.
- Cover and service Bank of India (BOI) branches, managing 6-10 branches depending on the city/branch size.
- Represent BOI IM for the sale and service of mutual funds.
- Build and maintain relationships with BOI branch customers.
- Understand products, market scenarios, and suggest investment options based on client profiling.
- Manage walk-in clients and follow up on leads.
- Ensure branch visibility with proper display of marketing materials (POP).
- Track competitor activities and generate relevant insights.
- Assist in organizing and conducting branch-level activities and training sessions.
- Support BOI Marketing Officers in completing KYC processes.
- Analyze clientele insights to identify business potential.
NISM certification (mandatory).
- Languages: Proficiency in English (spoken and written) and local language (e.g., Marathi in Maharashtra, Kannada in Karnataka).
- Soft Skills: Presentable with good manners and etiquette.
- Transport: Private transport preferred.
- Sales Skills: Strong ability to convert prospects into clients and ensure ongoing sales.
Experience & Industry Background
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in Insurance, Banking, or Mutual Funds.
- Exclusions: Candidates with experience in broking firms or back-office jobs are not eligible.
