Pre-Sales & Solution Lead – Utilities

We are seeking an experienced Utilities Pre-Sales & Solution Leader to act as a Subject Matter Expert and Lead Architect for global Utilities pursuits. The ideal candidate will bring strong Utilities domain expertise, solutioning and commercial acumen, and hands-on experience in developing differentiated solutions, leading RFP/RFQ responses, client engagements, GTM initiatives, and transformation strategies.

Location: Pan India (Kolkata Preferred)

CTC: ₹40–50 LPA (depending on Experience)

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end solution design, strategy and approach for proactive and reactive Utilities pursuits.

Act as a Utilities SME and Lead Architect across global client engagements.

Develop RFP/RFQ responses, proposals, presentations, deal constructs and solution architectures.

Partner closely with Sales teams on GTM strategy, new-logo pursuits and business growth initiatives.

Build and maintain a healthy Utilities deal pipeline across organic growth and new customer pursuits.

Assess as-is and reimagined processes, transformation opportunities, business viability and ROI.

Provide strategic advisory on Utilities market trends, competitive landscape, industry approaches and emerging opportunities.

Conduct financial analysis,



pricing assessments and commercial modelling to evaluate costs and potential returns.

Develop compelling value propositions and differentiated solution strategies aligned with client business outcomes.

Present solutions, recommendations and research insights to senior management and client stakeholders.

Demonstrate knowledge of CRM platforms, applications and technologies used across UK, Europe, North America and ANZ Utilities markets.

Conceptualize Agentic AI-enabled customer service solutions to improve efficiency and customer experience.

Identify opportunities for AI-driven automation, including autonomous query resolution, workflow coordination and proactive customer engagement.

Ensure responsible and compliant adoption of AI within contact center operations, focusing on transparency, safety and trust.

Support Due Diligence, solution workshops and client defence, with flexibility to travel as required.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Business Administration or a related discipline.

15+ years of BPO / Contact Center experience, with at least 5+ years of Utilities experience.

Robust understanding of the Utilities value chain, including Meter-to-Cash, Settlements, Billing, Revenue Assurance, Transmission and Distribution.

Proven experience in Utilities Pre-Sales, Solutioning, Solution Architecture or Consulting.

Strong hands-on experience in RFP/RFQ management, proposal development, solution design and deal construct.

Strong commercial and financial acumen, including pricing, cost analysis and ROI assessment.

Experience managing global Utilities pursuits and client engagements.

Exposure to Utilities markets across UK, Europe, North America and ANZ.

Strong understanding of contact center technologies, CRM, automation, Analytics, AI and emerging digital solutions.

Excellent client-facing, communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Professionals currently leading Utilities Pre-Sales & Solutioning will be strongly preferred.
