About the Role

1. Design, develop, and implement data integration workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or other Informatica products.
2. Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and project managers to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and data integration workflows.
3. Build and maintain ETL mappings, workflows, and transformations to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems.
4. Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation activities to ensure data quality and accuracy.
5. Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, data mappings, and process flow diagrams.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, data quality, and system performance.
7. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of existing Informatica workflows to improve system efficiency and throughput.
8. Stay updated with the latest Informatica technologies, best practices, and industry trends, and apply them to enhance data integration processes.
9. Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
10. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.

ETL tools: Informatica power center / IICS

DB: SQL server / Redshift.





Experience & Education: 4 - 6 years of experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Strong understanding of data integration concepts, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles.
- Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter, including experience with transformations, mappings, workflows, and scheduling.
- Create various active and passive transformations to support voluminous loading of data target table using Informatica PowerCenter
- Good knowledge on data warehouse and schemas.
- Experience with data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation techniques.
- Solid SQL and database skills, with proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
- Familiarity with data modeling and database design concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex data-related issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
- Informatica certification(s) will be a plus.
- Optional or additional skills:

1. Other ETL tools like SSIS, AWS Glue, Pyspark
2. Programming languages like Python etc
3. Functional knowledge in ERP and especially supply chain industry relevant.
