Work Preparation – Drawing Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities





Functions to develop:
- Analyze 2D engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, and technical documentation received through Technical Requests (Tech Requests).
- Interpret engineering drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and manufacturing specifications.
- Review drawings for manufacturability, assembly feasibility, and compliance with Aerospace standards.
- Identify missing, conflicting, or incorrect engineering information and coordinate with design teams for clarification.
- Support engineering change requests (ECR), engineering change notices (ECN), and design modifications.
- Perform dimensional analysis, tolerance verification, and GD&T; interpretation.
- Validate drawing revisions and ensure configuration consistency between drawings and digital models.
- Create technical reports, issue logs, and drawing analysis documentation.
