Role Description The Transportation Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Hosur, responsible for overseeing daily transportation operations. This role includes managing fleet schedules, monitoring vehicle deployment, and ensuring on-time pick-up and drop-off for employees and students. The supervisor will coordinate with drivers, routing teams, and clients to maintain service quality, resolve operational issues, and uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities also include tracking vehicle performance, managing documentation, supporting incident reporting, and implementing process improvements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, driver coordination, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of DOT regulations and other applicable transportation safety and compliance standards.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills to interact with drivers, clients, school administrators, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess fleet management skills, including route planning, scheduling, and basic understanding of vehicle utilization.
- Candidates should possess customer service skills to handle queries, address concerns, and maintain positive relationships with clients and passengers.
- Additional qualifications such as experience in transportation or logistics operations, familiarity with transport management software, and strong problem-solving abilities are beneficial.
- A relevant diploma or degree in logistics, transport management, or a related field, and proficiency in local languages along with English, will be an advantage.
