Production OSD: Packing – Trainee
- cGMP & Safety Orientation: Learn basic current Valuable Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), personal hygiene standards, and factory safety protocols for solid dosage packaging lines.
- Packaging Line Observation: Shadow senior operators and technicians on primary (blister/strip/bottle filling) and secondary packaging lines (cartoning, shipper packing) to understand automated machinery operations.
- Line Clearance Support: Assist senior team members in executing step-by-step line clearance checks before commencing new packaging runs to prevent product mix-ups.
- Documentation Learning: Learn how to accurately fill out Batch Packing Records (BPR), machine logbooks, and material reconciliation sheets under direct technical supervision.
- In-Process Quality Checks: Learn to perform routine in-process checks, such as leak testing (vacuum testing) for blisters/bottles, barcode/matrix scanning checks, and overprinting verification.
- Packaging Material Handling: Assist in receiving, verifying batch details, and staging packaging materials (foils, cartons, leaflets, shippers) at the packaging line.
- Yield & Reconciliation Assistance: Learn the step-by-step process of counting, weighing, and calculating material yields and rejection quantities at the end of each shift.
- Visual Inspection Practice: Perform initial visual checks for defective blisters, torn cartons, incorrect foil printing, or damaged bottles under senior guidance.
- Housekeeping & Cleanliness: Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and 5S standards in the packaging hall and material storage areas.
- Data Integrity Training: Attend structured training sessions on ALCOA+ data integrity rules, SOP compliance, and quality management principles.
