About the Program

Under its TB portfolio, Jhpiego supports the National TB Elimination Program (NTEP) in implementing innovative and evidence-based strategies to accelerate TB case detection and
improve treatment outcomes.



The Cough Syrup Surveillance Initiative aims to identify presumptive TB cases through pharmacy-level surveillance of cough syrup sales and strengthen referral linkages for timely TB screening, diagnosis, and treatment initiation.

About the Position
The Divisional Coordinator – TB will serve as the primary focal point for field-level implementation of the Cough Syrup Surveillance Initiative across assigned districts. The position is responsible for ensuring effective execution of surveillance activities, pharmacy engagement, referral tracking, and coordination with district health systems to strengthen TB case detection and linkage to care.The role requires extensive field travel, strong implementation and coordination skills, and the ability to drive data-based action for improving program performance and outcomes.
