Role & responsibilities

- Conduct research on trends, customer preferences, styling, and price points; analyze mood boards to decide suitable materials, motifs, and colors

- Understand merchandising requirements and buyer inputs.

- Ensure accuracy and alignment with buyer and merchandising inputs

- Prepare, review, and revise CADs for approvals and sampling

- Coordinate with merchandisers on buyer feedback, finalize production-ready designs, and maintain organized design files and daily submission records

- Address design-related queries from merchandising, sourcing, production, suppliers, and clients, providing technical clarity as needed

- Collaboration with team and clients

Skills

- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop software

- Trend forecasting and market research skills

- Knowledge of digital printing, embroidery, and textile development processes

- Excellent written and verbal communication skill

- Solid visualization and presentation skills

- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
