Technical Project Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead execution and delivery for our SaaS product engineering teams. This role is focused on project planning, sprint execution, cross-functional coordination, and ensuring timely, high-quality product releases.

The ideal candidate should have a strong technical understanding, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple teams, dependencies, and project timelines in a quick-paced SaaS environment. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, QA, and Design teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of product initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

- Own end-to-end project planning, execution, tracking, and delivery
- Create and manage project timelines, sprint plans, release schedules, and delivery milestones
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities
- Monitor project progress, identify risks/blockers, and drive resolution proactively
- Maintain clear visibility on project status, dependencies, and deliverables

Agile & Sprint Management

- Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog discussions
- Coordinate closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams for sprint execution
- Track team velocity, delivery performance, and sprint health
- Ensure proper task prioritization and workload management across teams
- Improve delivery processes and execution efficiency continuously

Technical Coordination

- Work closely with Engineering Leads and Developers to understand technical dependencies and implementation challenges
- Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and release planning
- Understand APIs, databases, integrations, and system workflows to manage technical execution effectively
- Ensure technical feasibility and alignment during project execution

Cross-functional Collaboration





- Act as the coordination bridge between Product, Engineering, QA, Design, and Business teams
- Ensure smooth communication and alignment across all stakeholders
- Manage inter-team dependencies and resolve execution bottlenecks
- Coordinate release readiness, QA validation, and deployment activities

Delivery & Quality Management

- Ensure high-quality releases through proper planning, tracking, and coordination
- Work closely with QA teams to monitor testing cycles and defect resolution
- Drive accountability for timelines, deliverables, and execution quality
- Establish project KPIs, reporting structures, and delivery dashboards

Requirements

Experience

- 8–10 years of experience in Technical Project Management, preferably in SaaS or product-based companies
- Proven experience managing large cross-functional engineering teams
- Experience handling multiple product releases and agile delivery cycles

Technical Skills

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and system architecture concepts
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively

Project Management Skills

- Strong project planning, execution, and risk management capabilities
- Experience in sprint management, release coordination, and stakeholder reporting
- Ability to manage priorities in fast-paced environments

Leadership & Communication

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in Enterprise SaaS or B2B product environments
- Exposure to Jira, Confluence, ClickUp, or similar project management tools
- Understanding of product engineering workflows and release management
- Experience coordinating distributed or multi-functional teams is a plus
