About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team at Kanerika Inc. In this leadership role, you will oversee and coordinate complex software development and data engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and data engineering, with extensive experience managing cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Your expertise will be instrumental in translating business requirements into robust technical solutions, overseeing the entire project lifecycle, and ensuring best practices are followed. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead innovative projects that involve data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modernization, and AI/ML initiatives, contributing directly to our company's growth and success.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Candidates should have between 8 to 15 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in a Technical Project Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master role,



with prior hands-on experience in software development or data engineering.

A strong technical foundation in data engineering technologies such as SQL, Python, Data Warehousing, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or similar platforms is essential.

Certification as a ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or an equivalent Agile certification is mandatory. Proficiency with project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps is required. Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC, project planning, risk management, and delivery processes.

Excellent stakeholder communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are vital, along with exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI projects being a plus.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality software and data engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex requirements into effective technical and data solutions.
- Own the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and project delivery lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Agile and Scrum best practices.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and demos to promote transparency and continuous improvement.
- Identify potential risks, manage dependencies, and proactively resolve project issues and conflicts to maintain project momentum.
- Oversee task breakdowns, sprint tracking, effort estimation, resource planning,



and project timelines to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Developers, Architects, and Product teams to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
- Drive projects involving data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, data platforms, data warehouses, and data modernization initiatives.
- Monitor project progress and engineering activities using tools such as JIRA or equivalent Agile project management platforms.
- Ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices, data quality assurance, testing strategies, deployment, and release management processes.
