Job Summary

ETL Developer / Data Technologist We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled ETL Developer / Data Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong commitment to delivery, bringing innovative ideas to complex data challenges.Candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data integration solutions that support critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement efficient and scalable ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter (10.x series). Create and optimize medium to complex Informatica mappings, transformations, and workflows.Perform root cause analysis and debug production issues within the Informatica environment.Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects in Oracle and SQL Server environments.Debug database query performance issues and ensure data integrity.Develop and maintain shell scripts on RHEL 8 for automation, data processing, and system administration tasks.Integrate diverse data sources and targets, including flat files (.txt, .csv) and XML files, into ETL processes.Schedule, monitor, and manage batch jobs using Control-M.Collaborate with business analysts and other technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Contribute to the continuous improvement of data architecture and ETL best practices.

Skill Requirements

Required Technical Skills & Experience: ETL Tools: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter (version 10.x preferred), including: Developing medium to complex mappings and workflows.Performance tuning and optimization techniques.Debugging and resolving production ETL issues.





Operating Systems: Proficiency in working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8) , including command-line navigation and basic administration.

Databases: Strong expertise in both Oracle and SQL Server , encompassing: Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries.In-depth understanding and application of various join types.Proven experience in debugging database queries for performance and correctness.

File Handling: Experience in processing and integrating various file formats within ETL solutions, such as .txt, .csv, and .xml.

Scripting: Solid shell scripting abilities ( Bash, Ksh, etc .) for Linux environments, including script creation and debugging for automation and data manipulation.

Job Scheduling: Practical experience with job scheduling tools, specifically Control-M . Understanding and knowledge of MQ , API , JAVA , certificates , ssh keys and integration with other technologies would be better to have
