Position Purpose

Team Member - Operations & Maintenance is responsible for ensuring that equipment and facilities are operating safely and efficiently. Also, he/she is responsible for the upkeep of the Utilities and their performance including HVACs , Chilled water, Brine, Nitrogen plant, etc. This job supports the R&D; activities at site and the incumbent will manage the day-to-day operations of the maintenance team and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Overall, the main goal of a maintenance engineer is to ensure that equipment and facilities are operating efficiently and safely to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

1. Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of equipment and facilities to identify any issues or potential problems.
2. Developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime and improve overall efficiency.
3.



Responding to equipment breakdowns or malfunctions, diagnosing the problem, and making necessary repairs.
4. Collaborating with other engineers and maintenance personnel to troubleshoot complex problems.
5. Monitoring and analyzing equipment performance data to identify trends and patterns that may indicate potential issues.
6. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
7. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance schedules.
8. Ordering and maintaining an inventory of necessary parts, tools, and equipment.
9. Providing technical support and training to other maintenance personnel.
10. Continuously learning and staying up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends to improve maintenance processes and procedures.

Education Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience in API R&D; set up

Work Experience

5+ years of experience in API R&D; set up
