Hiring: OpenShift Support Engineer

Location: Noida (Onsite)

Shift: 24x7 Rotational Shifts

Experience: 2–3 Years

We are looking for an OpenShift Support Engineer (L1) to provide first-line support for a production Red Hat OpenShift platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes environments, Linux administration, and incident management.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor OpenShift cluster, node, and pod health

Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests within SLA

Troubleshoot pod and workload issues (CrashLoopBackOff, Pending, ImagePullBackOff, Evicted, etc.)

Perform routine platform operations using oc/kubectl and OpenShift Console

Manage namespaces, resource quotas, RBAC requests, and storage monitoring

Support application teams with deployments and access requests

Maintain runbooks, shift handovers,



and knowledge base documentation

Required Skills

2–3 years of OpenShift or Kubernetes support experience

Strong understanding of Pods, Deployments, Services, Routes, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and PVCs

Hands-on experience with oc and kubectl commands

Linux Administration (RHEL/CentOS)

Basic Networking (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, Ingress/Routing)

Experience with ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar ticketing tools

Basic Shell Scripting

Preferred Skills

RHCSA or OpenShift Certification

Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager

Jenkins, Tekton, GitLab CI, ArgoCD

Helm

Experience working in a 24x7 support workplace
