- Preparation of Pre-Bid Quality Requirements of Suppliers & Contractors.
- Review of Prebid information and provide joint Technical Evaluation Rating (TER)
- along with design. Communicate rating and order preference along with PO conditions if any to SCM team.
- Preparation of SOP’s, Quality Manual, Formats and checklists.
- Well versed about QMS requirements and Compliance to the same.
- Well versed with codes and standards.
- Subject matter expertise of equipment’s like WTG (Blade, Nacelle, Hub, Tubular Tower, Lattice Tower), Transmission line Tower, Rebars, Poles, Hardware, Conductor, MMS Components like Pre-Galv/ZAM/ Posmac, Tracker Components
- and Fasteners etc.
- Well versed with HDG, Powder coating and Enamel Painting and their test requirements.
- Review and Approval of Type & Special test reports.
- Vendor Assessment and Performance Evaluation.
- Preparation & Review and approval of Manufacturing Quality Plans & Field
Quality Plans.
- Inspection Planning and Scheduling at supplier locations.
- Coordinating with TPIA inspectors and suppliers for timely inspection and receipt of Inspection reports.
- Review Inspection reports and closure of Nonconformities and Observations.
- Provide Technical Clearance & MDCC.
- Conducting field quality checks as per FQP details regarding the project construction activities and Equipment Installations.
- Coordination with Field Quality team, project team and Contractors for issues resolution.
- Identify & Develop Quality Metrics of MIS.
- Monthly MIS Presentation on Supplier Quality & Field Quality.
- Knowledge on Trainings to be given to site, Contractors teams.
- Experience & valuable knowledge of data management like MS Excel, OneDrive and SharePoint etc.
- Preparation of detailed FQP and Work Instructions of Construction activities.
- Awareness on WTG Foundation & Tower Erection, Lattice Structure erection & Transmission Line activities.
- Unloading & Storage of Material and maintaining its documentation.
- Timely follow-up with SQ team, supplier, Contractor & Project execution teams for on-going projects activities, Observation & NCR closure etc.
- Proactive on ensuring & implementing Quality Assurance plans.
